Happiness is found close by. In a world where indifference and inhumanity prevail, let us use our discussion meetings as the pivot for creating oases of peace and harmony in our homes and in our local communities, and then extending them to encompass every sphere of society.’
Daisaku Ikeda - Faith Into Action p.216

All our meetings are open to guests. However, we have found the monthly Discussion Meeting usually provides the best introduction to our practice. These small informal meetings, which generally take place in our own homes, act as a source of inspiration, where we encourage each other and share experiences of using our Buddhist practice.

Discussion Topics are chosen with a view to being relevant in daily life and interesting to guests.
Recent starting points for discussion have been:

What is true happiness?
How can we transform suffering?
Where does peace begin?
